Due to great usability of DORS 1200 M1, it’s well suitable for usage at cash counters of retail outlets. Any control mode can be activated by pressing a relevant button of the control panel.
Detector has a source of UV light (2 tubes by 4W each, or 8W totally). Due to it, the detector makes UV marks clearly and comfortably visible (even in a case of bright external light in the room).
Backlighted area of device is provided the transmitted white light control of any currency.
DORS 1200 M1 is equipped with the following connectors for external detectors:
- Two jacks for connection of DORS 10 and DORS 15;
- The device has two video inputs for connection of video magnifiers DORS 1010 and DORS 1020.
Types of control
- Infrared (IR) control of presence, allocation and quality of fragments printed with IR metameric ink.
- Two-band IR control (940 nm and 850 nm) to discover the blinking marks on USD, Russian banknotes issued since 2010 and other currencies.
- Ultraviolet (UV) control of luminescence of images and fibers, and absence of background luminescence as well.
- Transmitted IR control of watermarks and security threads (on screen).
- Reflected oblique white light control (top source) for verification of printing types, printing defects and possible erasures in serially numbered forms, of optical variable inks and some security holograms.
- Transmitted white light control (bottom source) for verification of watermarks, security threads, microperforation, front-to-back registers.
- Size control of a banknote or dimensions of a missed fragment.
